How hard is the schooling to become an occupational therapist?

I have never had the desire to be an occupational therapist and only a small desire to be a registered nurse. However, being the single mom that I am I really don't have many choices. I know how hard nursing school is because i have seen others go through it, so I just need to know how hard the schooling is for occupational therapy.
