Have to ask?

I have never understood nor will I ever and thus must ask why are the Olsen twins apparently relevant in any sense of the word. I'm 31 years old and for the life of me can't figure out what made them so famous let alone again why they matter. I get recent events about Heath Ledger (however you spell it) but aside from that who cares. They haven't been in any movies let alone any that have mattered, they haven't to my knowledge released any albums let alone record breaking or award winning, their like paris hilton famous for no reason. What did they do and what is it that makes someone still think they matter a hill of beans other then regarding Heath Ledger maybe? What makes them remotely relevant? uggghhhh. And regarding the heath ledger thing ok he was dead before the call but still she sends her bodyguards across town instead of calling 911 if she was worried about a friend? Once the call was made help arrived in 7 minutes. I get protecting heath privacy but still haha some friend.
