Help, which breed of cat is the most affectionate?

I lost my soulmate Hugo (on my profile pic) in /February and miss him so much :-( He was so so affectionate and always wanted to be cuddling up with me. I have a six month old kitten here who isn't anywhere near as friendly as Hugo was, despite me giving him so much loving. I am wanting to get another cat now, company for him but I also want one who will be a lap cat and give me lots of love in return. Can you suggest a breed? My cat is Maine Coon x Ragdoll and I thought they were friendly?
