Pieces of garbage lay tered around the hut as if it were no different from a dumpster where the entire world’s trash converged at this one dump site, with pigs sniffing at and dogs scavenging in the littered waste. His traditional style hut lacks a bathroom, kitchen, sink, television, or any modern convenience one would find in a typical American home. A tiny farm with chickens and a cornfield, the bounties of which they sell at the local market, are the only sources of revenue.
