Are scientists narrow-minded small thinkers?

well if its a dream of yours you should pursue it. you will meet people along the way who share similar thinking styles. don't be put off by the idea of becoming a a scientist. just because others dont have an avid interest in expanding their research in relative fields doesn't mean that you wont be able to look outside the box yourself. you will probably be greatly admired for it. there are a lot of scientist/researchers out there to do whats already been done, but it takes a special mind to be able bend the ideas of modern science and contort it into a new theory, and with any luck a proven fact. whatever you do dont stop thinking, and allow your mind to keep going further. know yourself and do what you love. good luck.
